Brooks Brothers officially filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection as they seek a buyer. Unfortunately this will probably mean a foreign firm will buy the brand for its name recognition and off shore the brand for as cheap as possible production and any notion of quality will likely be a thing of the past. This could be the end of an era.
