The frogmouth pocket is an alternative to the standard side slant / handwarmer pocket that is typically found on trousers.

It is a top loading pocket, similar to a jeans pocket, and became popular during the style heyday of the early-mid 1960s, especially on English suits.

Pros: It keeps a clean and straight silhouette since the pocket will not flare out when you bend over.  They give the trouser a unique look.

Cons: If you use your pockets a lot, you might find the frogmouth pocket to be restrictive in its ease of use, but we tend to feel that one should never stuff too much stuff into his pockets.

A couple days late, but it was the 40th anniversary of The Specials self titled record a couple days ago.  Hands down one of the most influential and brilliant records ever released, an iconic legend that inspired legions of working class kids.
